 Q1:  What does it mean to be saved?

A: It means to be reconciled back to God through Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:16-21; Romans 5:9-19; Romans 6:23; Proverbs 10:6

Q2: What must I do to be saved?

A: Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart according to Romans 10:8-11; John 3:16-17

Q3: What does it mean not to be saved?

A: Separation from God and eternal condemnation.John 3:18-21

Q4:Are all men God’s children?

A: No. John 1:12-14; Romans 8:10-20, Galatians 4:1-7; Romans 5:7-17

Q5: What does it mean to be born again?

A: Jesus gives us the answer in John 3:1-8; John 20-17:23; Psalm 104:29-31

Q6: Once we are born again, what should we do?

A: Have a desire to mature. 1 Peter 2:1-7; Hebrews 5:13-14; Romans 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 2:15; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:15-21

 Q7: Who is the Godhead?

A: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. 1 John 5:7; John 1:1-2; Genesis 1:1-3; Genesis 1:26; Colossians 2:4-14

Q8:Who is the Holy Spirit?

A:He is the Third Person of The Godhead. He empowers the believer. Jesus is the one who baptizes us into the Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:8

Q9: What is the Holy Spirit’s assignment in the earth today?

A: He leads the believer, he teaches the believer and he is the truth of God. He speaks to the believer and the believer is edified and built up in Christ through him. He convicts the sinner. He is also known by these names: Comforter, Counselor, Intercessor, Helper, The Promise Spirit of God, Spirit of Truth, and the Spirit of Grace. Romans 8:14; 1 John 2:20; 1 John 2:26-27; John 15:26; Acts 2:38-39

 

Q10:How do you receive the Holy Spirit?

A: He can be poured out or hands can be laid upon you, or you can ask the Father. He is a gift to the believers. This is not to be confused with the Spirit of Sonship, which is the adoption by the Father through the Spirit in Jesus. Acts 2:16-19; Acts 19:1-7; Luke 11:9-13

 Q11: Why do we raise holy hands?

A: To give praise to God, intercede for others and receive victory . Psalm 63:4; Psalm 134; Exodus 17:8-16; 1 Timothy 2:3-8; Lamentations 2:19

 Q12: Is the devil real?

A: Yes, Jesus knew and confronted him. He also had victory over him. Matthew 4:1-10; John 8:44; 1 Peter 5:8 Hebrews 2:9-18

Q13: Where did the devil come from?

A: He was created as an angel. Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:11-19; Luke 10:17-23; Job 1:6-7
